Everyone has a #number and there is nothing wrong with anyone's tags whatsoever. Yes, Atelier based the username system like Discord, but that doesn't mean they intended to do it EXACTLY like Discord had in the set up. I disagree, as users who paid the price to change their username are still original and have the #0000, if they were to not have paid and and took the free name change, they don't get to keep that #0000, so I am grateful for that. "I also think name changes shouldn't be given out for free, as it is unfair for people who previously paid for a name change." I personally dislike the balance between the discord naming system and the Transformice naming system, share your ideas here!Įdit: I also think new accounts should have #0000 tags if the username wasn't taken by anyone else To be honest, #0000 tags might as well just be changed to a random number so that everyone has a tag and everyone is equal. They have the same element, but in discord, usernames can be changed/made with no character restrictions, as many times as you want, so usernames aren't really a solid identity in discord, while in Transformice, usernames are more permanent. Also, Transformice sort of failed at making the name system like the discord name system. I also think name changes shouldn't be given out for free, as it is unfair for people who previously paid for a name change and giving changes out for free results in people not thinking too hardly about what they change their name to. You also should be able to pay a certain amount of cheese or fraisies to revert back to your old #0000 tag, in the event that you regret your new username choice. There should be an OPTION to disable tags everywhere or show tags everywhere and the only exception to this would be a user's profile. The new username update can use some fixes.
